Lindsay Jane Marshall, taken from us on August 14th 2007 - aged just 40, and from Bulford Village, Salisbury, Wilts. She was originally from Farnborough, Hants and worked as a Team Leader for a major medical and pharmaceutical firm, Sister of both Glen and Stuart, Daughter of Paul and Vivian, Auntie of Eve and Fleur and beloved Wife of Darren. Taken suddenly minding her own business on her way to work. Lindsay was dedicated to her work and home life. She was a loving person and had everything she ever wanted, a horse she loved, a lovely home in the country and a Husband she adored. She became instant friends with anyone she met and didn't have a bad bone in her body - she was perfect in every sense and was my whole world, she is terribly missed but constantly in my thoughts.
Hi Gorgeous!
Hello lovely, cant believe it's been 3 years to the day since you were taken from us, time goes by so quick these days!
There are some lovely flowers on your grave - it's lovely that other people have remembered too!
You are never ever far from my thoughts, and as you know you appear frequently in my dreams when I am asleep - thank you for watching over me!
All my love,
Darren xxxxx
Hello lovely girl.
this feels so much better than leaving a card on the grave (looking good now hey? Good photo - think you'd have allowed that one even though you hated them!!).
I was going to write to you on Friday - but I couldn't decide whether to carry on 'marking' the event (you know I think of you) or not. In the end, was feeling utterly rubbish, in France with mad children crap weather and general disorganisation - so I know you'll forgive me that it slipped my mind!!! Things don't change hey?!
Things go on as usual down here - I know you're with us all so wont' bore you with details that you already know. I miss you heaps, but the expectation go seeing you every day is starting to fade and I think that makes me more upset than when I was looking out for you still. but even if you fade sometimes from our thoughts angel, you are with us always in our hearts. Always.
love ya babe
Hi Mate
hello Fringe, Miss you lots today. Weather miserable. Tony miserable, want to go down and see you and Darren but tony not up to it. Wish you were here for a chat or a walk with the dogs.Even in the rain would be ok!! Lots of love your mate Maunders.
Missing You
Linds I miss you
A best Friend,a soul mate,
Still hard to understand,
The cruel twist of fate.
Now you have gone,
There is not a day goes by,
When I cant see you standing here.
But some things in life
Are just rotten and unfair,
Because if they werent,
You would be standing here.
We were just right as mates,
Like all the best teams,
A friendship built on trust,
Hope excitement and our dreams.
But life dosn't last forever,
Sometimes its cut way too short,
Try adding up the logic,
Sometimes it comes to naught.
But everything for a reason,
Even though its not that clear,
But your spirit is with us,
You will always be near.
And so life must go on,
Just like it has done before,
Just know you will always be with us,
Yesterday now and for evermore.
Love you Lins and miss you so much x x x
Linz
Linz, although you're gone you will never ever be forgotton. A bright light will always shine in my heart for you. To me, you were always a kind, loving, thoughtful and considerate Daughter-in-Law. You lived life to the full, and sadly you were taken from us far too soon...so, so unfair, but thankyou for making Darren so happy in all the years you were together! Miss you, Love Ann xxxx
linz
Anyone who knew or had the pleasure of meeting Linz would, I am sure, wholeheartedly agree, she was a very very special person; a great lover of all animals, a wonderful listener, had a great sense of humour, love of life and a great party creature but one who always knew when she was 'gone', unlike most of us !! Linz, will always have a very special place in my heart and thoughts and never a day goes by when i fail to think of her and the fond memories. My thoughts and love also go to her family and friends who are also missing her as much as I am and especially to Darren. I hope, Linz you are happy and at peace wherever you are but thank you for making my life so special having known you and loved you as a friend.
My Best Friend
Lindsay and i had been friends for over 12 years. She lived with me and my 2 girls in a house in Godalming before she met her husband Daz. We got on like sisters and were very close. She helped me bring my 2 daughters up after their Dad walked out on us. If it hadnt been for Lindz the fringe i dont know how i would of coped! She really was a friend in a million and i miss her so very much. They is not a day that goes by that i dont think about her or talk about her to my daughters and everyone that met her thought she was a sweet kind girl. Miss you Linz your good mate Maunders
